The District Chief Executive of North Tongu conducted an inspection tour of ongoing development projects funded by the District Assembly Common Fund to ensure that all works meet required quality standards and are delivered on schedule.

The inspection team included district engineers, the district finance officer, the internal auditor, and the planning officer. The team assessed progress on various project sites and reviewed compliance with approved specifications and timelines to ensure value for public funds.

As part of the tour, the team also inspected the Podoe Water Supply System to evaluate its performance and assess its continued impact on improving access to potable water for residents within the district.

The exercise reflects a strong commitment to protecting the interests of the people of North Tongu and ensuring prudent and transparent use of public resources to support sustainable development.
