
On Monday, 4th May 2026, the District Chief Executive for North Tongu, Hon. Victoria Amefadzi Yawa Doe, led a team to monitor the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination across selected centres in the district, including Aveyime Battor Senior High Technical School, Battor Senior High School and Mepe St. Kizito Senior High Technical School.
The monitoring exercise formed part of efforts to ensure a smooth, orderly and credible examination process across North Tongu. The team engaged with candidates and officials to assess conditions at the centres and ensure compliance with examination guidelines.
The DCE was accompanied by the District Director of Education, Mr. David Bessah, Mr. Padmore Havor, Mr. Dominic Adoboe, Chief Inspector of Schools, Constituency Executives, Assembly staff and other stakeholders.
Hon. Victoria Amefadzi Yawa Doe commended the candidates for their discipline and preparedness. She also praised invigilators and security personnel for their professionalism in maintaining the integrity of the examination process.
She expressed appreciation to H.E. John Dramani Mahama and the Member of Parliament for North Tongu and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, for their continued support towards improving education in the district.
