Engineers from the Ghana Highways Authority and key stakeholders conducted an inspection of the ongoing Atimpoku Juapong Asikuma Big Push Road Project to assess progress and ensure smooth execution of works.
During the inspection, the Resident Engineer indicated that structures located within the project’s right of way, from Juapong Factory Junction towards Podoe Junction, will be removed to create adequate space for construction activities and ensure safe project implementation.
The inspection team observed steady progress of work being undertaken by the contractors, Ussuya GH Limited and Dwawill Limited, who continue to carry out construction in line with project timelines and engineering standards.
The project is expected to significantly improve transportation within the district by enhancing road safety, reducing travel time, and supporting economic activities along the corridor. The improved road network will also facilitate movement of goods and services and strengthen connectivity between communities across the district.
