The North Tongu team implementing the Government’s Nkoko Nkitikiti Initiative has assessed the programme’s progress in the district, with findings indicating that the birds are performing well.

The positive assessment highlights the initiative’s potential to boost local poultry production, strengthen food security and create livelihood opportunities for beneficiaries.

The District Chief Executive, Hon. Victoria Amefadzi Yawa Doe, expressed encouragement at the progress and reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote economic opportunities and improve the livelihoods of residents.

The Assembly will continue to work with relevant stakeholders to support the initiative and advance local development in North Tongu.
