The North Tongu District Assembly has commended Queen Etornam’s BEit Foundation and the Maxim Nyansa Foundation for their contribution to digital education through the establishment of a fully equipped ICT laboratory at Juapong R.C. Basic School.

The facility was commissioned on Thursday, 8th October 2026, with the District Chief Executive, Hon. Victoria Amefadzi Yawa Doe, represented by the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Yakubu Abukari.

The DCE congratulated Ms. Isabella Etornam Gagblezu, Founder of Queen Etornam’s BEit Foundation and winner of Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2025, for initiating the project. She noted that the investment would help learners and teachers develop essential ICT skills and create opportunities for academic and professional growth.

She also acknowledged the Maxim Nyansa Foundation for its partnership and encouraged both organisations to continue supporting educational initiatives that benefit communities across North Tongu.

The project reflects the importance of partnerships in expanding access to digital learning resources and preparing learners with skills for an increasingly technology-driven world.
