
On Wednesday, 31st December 2025, the North Tongu District Chief Executive, Hon. Victoria Amefadzi Yawa Doe, commissioned the newly renovated Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) facility at Deve-Battor, with the event receiving coverage from TV3 News.
The upgraded facility features improved consultation rooms, essential medical equipment, and staff accommodation, which will significantly enhance the delivery of primary healthcare services to residents of Deve-Battor and surrounding communities.
In her remarks, Hon. Victoria Amefadzi Yawa Doe underscored the importance of accessible and quality healthcare at the community level. She encouraged health workers to continue providing compassionate and professional care and called on residents to take ownership of the facility to ensure its proper maintenance.
The commissioning of the renovated CHPS compound reaffirms the North Tongu District Assembly’s commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure and ensuring modern, reliable, and people-centered health services across the district.
