NORTH TONGU OBSERVES NATIONAL SANITATION DAY

Residents, Assembly Members, and key stakeholders participated in a cleanup exercise along Battor Main Street and the market area as part of National Sanitation Day activities in the district.

The exercise focused on sweeping streets, desilting drains, and clearing waste from public spaces to promote a cleaner and healthier environment for residents and traders. The activity forms part of ongoing efforts to improve sanitation and reduce environmental health risks within the district.

Residents of Kekpo Community were commended for organizing a large-scale cleanup exercise within their locality. Their active participation demonstrated strong community spirit and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
