The North Tongu District Assembly conducted a market engagement and assessment exercise at Battor Market as part of ongoing efforts to improve trading conditions and sanitation within the district.

The delegation included the District Coordinating Director, Emmanuel Laryea Tetteh, District Finance Officer, Divine Seckey, and Physical Planning Officers, Emmanuel Doe and David Adigler.

During the engagement, the team interacted with traders and assessed the general market layout to identify gaps in space management and sanitation practices. Discussions also covered revenue mobilization and strategies to improve compliance and ensure efficient use of market spaces.
