Battor, North Tongu – 2025
The North Tongu District Assembly has successfully conducted interviews for 31 applicants who were shortlisted by the National Scholarship Secretariat.
The interview panel was made up of key leaders in the district, including the District Chief Executive, the District Education Director, the Head of the Mepe Traditional Council, and the District Development Planner.
The exercise was aimed at selecting deserving students for government scholarships to support their education. Officials expressed satisfaction with the process and encouraged all applicants to take their studies seriously as they await the outcome.
This initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to expand educational opportunities and empower the youth of North Tongu through equitable access to scholarship support.
