NORTH TONGU DISTRICT ASSEMBLY ENGAGES JUAPONG RESIDENTS AHEAD OF NATIONAL SANITATION DAY

On Monday, 2nd December 2025, the North Tongu District Assembly, together with Assembly Members from the Juapong electoral areas, appeared on Ana FM as part of ongoing publicity efforts for the upcoming National Sanitation Day clean-up exercise within Juapong township and its surrounding communities.

During the radio engagement, the team highlighted key points to encourage public participation and promote a cleaner environment. They emphasized the benefits of the clean-up exercise, noting that improved sanitation contributes to good health, reduces disease outbreaks, and enhances the overall appearance of the community.

The Assembly also stressed that cleanliness should not be seen as a one-day event, but a daily responsibility that every resident must take seriously to ensure sustained environmental hygiene.

Additionally, listeners were educated on court procedures, the Public Health Act, and Assembly by-laws regarding sanitation offences. The public was reminded that individuals who fail to comply with sanitation regulations could face penalties.

The Assembly encouraged all residents of Juapong and its environs to actively participate in the upcoming exercise to help keep the community clean and safe for all.
