HR Department Trains Newly Appointed Assembly Members on Roles and Responsibilities

The Human Resource Department of the North Tongu District Assembly has organized a capacity-building training session for newly appointed government appointees to enhance their understanding of local governance and administrative procedures.

The training covered key topics, including the roles and responsibilities of government appointees, the local government system, and the model standing orders that guide the functioning of the Assembly.

The objective of the session was to ensure that the new appointees are well-informed about their mandates and adequately prepared to contribute effectively to the smooth running of the District Assembly.

Participants expressed appreciation to the HR Department for organizing the exercise, which they described as insightful and essential for promoting effective governance and collaboration within the district’s administrative framework.
