The Development Planning Sub-Committee of the North Tongu District Assembly successfully held its latest meeting today to deliberate on crucial development initiatives aimed at improving the lives of our constituents.
The meeting saw active participation from committee members, who engaged in thorough discussions regarding various key proposals and projects, for inclusion in the 2026-2029 District Medium-Term Development plan and the 2026 Annual Action Plan for sustainable growth across the district. Other agenda items included reviewing progress on ongoing infrastructure projects and programmes as well as assessing new proposals for community development, and strategizing on resource allocation to ensure equitable distribution of amenities and services.
Discussions were robust and focused on ensuring that all development efforts align with the district’s long-term vision and the needs of our communities. The committee emphasized the importance of stakeholder engagement, environmental sustainability, and economic viability in all proposed undertakings.
The insights and recommendations generated during this meeting will be presented to the full Assembly for further consideration and approval, paving the way for the implementation of projects that will bring tangible benefits to the people of North Tongu.
