Kekpo-Battor, North Tongu – 2025
The District Chief Executive (DCE) for North Tongu, Hon. Victoria Amefadzi Yawa Doe, has paid a working visit to the National Identification Authority (NIA) District Office in Kekpo-Battor following complaints from residents about the Authority’s operations.
During the unannounced visit, Hon. Doe urged NIA staff to work diligently and ensure that clients who travel from both near and far are served effectively, rather than turned away. She also stressed the importance of public education to help clients prepare adequately before visiting the office, in order to minimize delays and prevent unnecessary turnaways.
The Acting Director of the NIA assured the DCE of their commitment to upholding Ghana’s dignity by insisting on doing things right and giving their best in service delivery.
The visit is seen as a positive step towards improving NIA services and addressing community concerns in the district. Hon. Doe was accompanied by the District Coordinating Director (DCD), Mr. Emmanuel Laryea.
