Development Planning Sub-Committee Holds Inaugural Meeting for New Session on 24th June 2025

The North Tongu District Assembly’s Development Planning Sub-Committee officially commenced its work for the new session with its inaugural meeting held on Monday, 24th June.

The meeting began with a crucial orientation session, featuring a detailed presentation on the functions, roles, and responsibilities of the sub-committee. This foundational briefing equipped members with the necessary understanding of their mandate to effectively steer the district’s development agenda.

Following the orientation, the committee proceeded to a comprehensive review of the 2025 Annual Action Plan (AAP). Members engaged in thorough discussions, analysing the planned activities and projects for the year to ensure they align with the district’s strategic priorities and the aspirations of the citizenry.

Other matters relating to the enhancement of the district’s planning framework were also discussed.

This inaugural meeting successfully set a collaborative tone and a clear direction for the sub-committee. Members expressed their full commitment to overseeing the planning and implementation of impactful development projects for the progress of North Tongu.
