On Monday, 27th April 2026, the District Chief Executive for North Tongu, Hon. Victoria Amefadzi Yawa Doe, on behalf of the Member of Parliament for North Tongu and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, presented mathematical sets to a total of 2,269 Basic Education Certificate Examination candidates across the district to support their preparation for the upcoming examinations.

The intervention forms part of ongoing efforts to improve educational outcomes and reduce the financial burden on students and their families. The mathematical sets will help ensure that candidates are well equipped to sit for their examinations with confidence.

The items were officially received by the District Education Directorate for onward distribution to the candidates. Mr. Padmore Havor, Human Resources Officer, and Mr. Dominic Adorboe received the items on behalf of the Directorate.

Hon. Victoria Amefadzi Yawa Doe encouraged all candidates to remain focused and give their best during the examinations. She expressed confidence in their ability to excel and wished them success in the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination.
